Lee Riley – Former Royal Marine – Triple World Record Holder – First Athlete to hold Sprinting, Middle Distance and Marathon World Records all at once.
I invite you to see me attempt to become the fastest man on the planet over 1 mile. I am attempting this feat on this special weekend of the year to raise awareness and much needed funds for our Soldiers Charities. I am a Former Royal Marine who wants to honour our Heroes past and present by breaking this record during The Armistice Weekend. I am no stranger to breaking records having smashed two World Records this year, the half marathon with 40lb pack in a time of 1 Hour 36 minutes 56 seconds breaking the previous record by almost 7 minutes. Then just weeks later the Marathon World Record also with 40lb pack in London, here I knocked 41 minutes off the previous record which had stood for 20 years, in a time of 4 Hours 1 minute 17 seconds. The mile record has stood since 1993 and is 5mins 35secs.
Your support for me and the Soldiers Charities would be invaluable and along with some of our war veterans, I would be honoured to welcome you there to see me make history. Make it a family morning and bring family and friends to this event.
This is going to take place on Saturday 12/11/2011 at 9am at:-

If you have any ideas in any way to make the event more of a success, like people or businesses you know that would want to help sponsor, advertise, promote, even get involved prior and on this special occasion please do not hesitate to share your voice. . I am finalising the charity information, so unless you find out otherwise via donating on the internet, if you want to make a donation, you will be able to do so on the day.
I hope to see you there.
